Matt Hales' Aqualung project began in 2001 with a VW ad. This rapidly became a top ten single and album on Warners. I entered the project with some mixing in my studio - then in the basement of my flat. It became a major commitment for a few years with producing, mixing, recording and performing live as drummer, keyboard player and finally bass player. Although Adapted Silence was up and running I couldn't turn down the opportunity to drive around the world with four fantastic musicians, play some amazing gigs and fulfill the rock'n'roll dream. The touring ended in 2007 when I knew it was time to return my energy to writing to picture. Aqualung still exists, no doubt it's form will continue to evolve.
